SODOMY - Episode 1 (The Genesis)

Scene 1.

In the kitchen. The mother rounds off her food.

MOTHER: Mary, go and wake your brother, Destiny. Tell him food is ready.

MARY: Okay, mum.

[She dashes out. The mother goes to set the food on the dining table few minutes later.

Door opens. ]

Scene 2.

Destiny snores in his sleep.

MARY: (Taps Destiny gently on his hand) wake up. Wake up. Destiny food is ready, wake up… (Hisses) Sleep on. You are not hungry!

[Door closes. She meets other family at the dining]

FATHER: John pour some water here.

[Pouring water into a cup]

MOTHER: Where is Destiny, Mary?

MARY: He refused to answer me.

MOTHER: What do you mean?! Beat him up.

FATHER: How would you ask Mary to beat him up? Is he her mate? Leave him, he will eat when he wakes. Let him be.

CHRIST: I know that thou art eager to explore the campus world. Fortunately for you, today’s revelation is the final stage of your training to usher you into the world of the university community. Come along with me.

Scene 5

The scene starts with a solemn and scaring beat from the background with thunder and lightning.

All the cast’s voice in this scene is being transformed to resemble that of the devils except for the hearing of the SCRIPTURE.

LUCIFER: I welcome you all to the meeting today. I will like to commence this meeting by announcing the names of my instruments and tools who are present and those who are on important missions in the earth. In the house today are, Wandering Spirit, Culture, Adamic Nature, Mr. Flesh, False Religion and Myself, Lucifer. The following are absent for different cogent reasons. They are, Familiar Spirit, Witchcraft, and False Prophet. They are currently on earth for a mission.

Today we shall look at the word of the Almighty God that says…

ALMIGHTY GOD:  ²¹ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; ²² And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.²³ And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

LUCIFER: (Continues) This word of God shall not stand, shall it?

OTHERS: (Sternly and authoritatively) Never! Not on our watch O great Lucifer!

LUCIFER: It has been instituted from the foundation of the world that a man shall be married to a woman. That is the one-man-to-one-woman message. The Almighty doesn’t condone polygamy neither does He overlooks gay marriage. Those who perpetrate such things are cut off from Him, making them ours, which is our mission so that they may end up in the lake of fire. But my fellow evil spirits, I congratulate you for a work well done so far in making polygamy almost a norm in the world today. But some have not accepted polygamy still. Those ones who reject polygamy are those faithful Christians. We need to deal with them. Yet, most parts of the world have refused to embrace same-sex marriage too! These are mostly Africans. How dare they! Wandering Spirit!

WANDERING SPIRIT: My lord, great Lucifer.

LUCIFER: What did you gather as the cause of the rejection of same-sex marriage in most parts of the world?

WANDERING SPIRIT: My lord, Lucifer, the people of the world, especially the Africans are holding on to the doctrine of sound marriage as God commands them. Culture is another issue they respect. They said their Bible and their culture vehemently opposes same-sex marriage and as such, they will never practice it.  

As we speak, homosexuality in Nigeria, Mauritania, and Sudan is punishable by death and imprisonment. According to Nigeria law, a straight ally “who administers, witness, abets or aids” any form of gender non-conforming homosexual activity could receive a 14-year jail sentence.

LUCIFER: (Angrily) Why, Culture? Why do you do this? Why do you poison the mind of Africans against us?

CULTURE: Don’t be mad with me my lord Lucifer. Africans are trying to uphold what I introduced to them long ago before the western nations brought the gospel to them. And as you well know my lord, it was to make them see us as though we are good people so they can worship us and fall short of the commandments of God. Notwithstanding, I did a good job in the ancient Greek. I introduced Pederasty. It was a socially acknowledged erotic relationship between an adult male called, the erastes and a younger male called, the eromenos usually in his teens.

I have also taken the battle to the Americans and the European countries which snatched the Africans from us. I make sure that no country in Europe has a law against homosexuality as it is today. I also made America to legalize same-sex marriage. Nearly two dozen governments around the world have introduced legislation allowing gays and lesbians to marry. The majority of these are in Europe and the Americas. And I have taken over South Africa too.  

LUCIFER: What do you have to say about this, Wandering spirit?

WANDERING SPIRIT: Culture is right my lord, Lucifer. But another major reason is that they hold on firmly to religion. They are very religious, especially Nigerians but just a few of them practice true religion.

LUCIFER: (Furiously) How dare you be equally yoked together with the people of the world as to make them refuse to bend to our will?

FALSE RELIGION: Don’t be mad with me my lord, Lucifer. I was only trying to disguise myself as the light of righteousness. I know how to brainwash them anyways. I’m raising more and more false prophets to do the job while I supervise it and ensure it is well done.

LUCIFER: And you, Mr. Flesh and Adamic nature, since both of you are living closely with the sinners, what have you been able to do to make them embrace gay, lesbianism, trans-gender, same-sex marriage and so on?

MR. FLESH: As for me, I am making them feel good with it. I make it very pleasurable.

ADAMIC NATURE: I have made it the nature of some of them just like kleptomaniac, an obsessive urge to steal and alcoholic, a strong genetic predisposing towards alcoholism. I drive their hormones and sexual desire towards the same sex.

LUCIFER: Good! Very good! But make sure they don’t meet with the Savior. Make them believe it’s God that created them so. This is because if they have an encounter with the Savior, they will be free from you.

ADAMIC NATURE: I understand very well my lord Lucifer. Though some of them had made an attempt but I was able to win most of them back. They don’t understand that with freedom comes responsibility. They thought it all ends in salvation. Ignoramuses! Only a few of them take the responsibility of daily studying and using the word of God against me when I try to return into their lives again. Some of them also seek God’s grace daily to overcome me. I am working hard to win them, one after the other.

LUCIFER: The end-time is near. The coming of the Great One is imminent, and all the signs of His coming have all been fulfilled. You must not rest until you win the whole world for me! Go to every nook and cranny of the world and make disciples for me, GO! I say go! This meeting is over!

THEY DISAPPEAR ONE AFTER THE OTHER….

Then comes a thunder storm….

CHRIST: My son, now the doors of the university that you desire is open to you. Go and represent me there. Do not deviate from the narrow way that leads to everlasting life. Peace be unto you.
